The Marvel published a series of Star Wars comic books from 1977 to 1986, lasting 107 issues and 3 annuals.
Most issues were original stories, however, #1-6 adapted the events of A New Hope and #39-44 adapted The Empire Strikes Back. Marvel also published a mini-series adapting Return of the Jedi.
