Sarah French (Scarlet Salem) has always been a favorite of MIN readers, but just in case this is your first exposure to the blond from Minnesota, here is her bio.

Sarah began modeling in 2007 working steadily in print, fashion, and various websites. Her life long love of the horror genre led to her auditioning for an independent horror film called 'Pajama Party Massacre'. She got the role and loved the experience so much that she sought out other film work. To date she has worked on over two dozen projects with titles such as: 'Terror Overload', 'Killer Biker Chicks', 'Resist Evil Trilogy', 'Strip Club Slasher', and 'Camp Kill'.

In addition to film work, Sarah can also be seen in various commercials and makes many appearances at film festivals and horror conventions all across the country.

In 2010 Sarah stopped using her screen name Scarlet Salem!

Film career

She began her professional acting career at 25 in the movie "You're Next 3: Pajama Party Massacre" which is a short horror movie produced by NFTS Productions. Before that, she made cameo appearances in "Mutilated Movies" in 2007 and in two Pawn America productions.

Sarah has been featured in more than twenty movies since 2006, including "The Alphabet of Sex", "AfterBirth", "Bramburr", "Clown Museum of the Damned", "Tales Of The Dead: The Radio", and "Klownboy Circus of Gore".

In 2009 she starred in the directorial debut from Elske McCain (Our Geek Girl for January), another modern-day Scream Queen, which is titled "Stripping for Dummies".

In addition to all that, Scarlet's likeness is also being used for Goldilocks in the latest Comic Book Diva comic book series, “Goldilocks In Zombie Land”.

Geek Girl For March 2012 - Analeigh Tipton

ANALEIGH TIPTON stars in the highly anticipated, soon-to-be-released Whit Stillman-directed feature film "Violet Wister's Damsels in Distress." She most recently co-starred with Seth Rogen in Michael Gondry's action/adventure "The Green Hornet," playing the title character's girlfriend. She will soon be seen in a multi-episode arc on "Hung" for HBO, to air in Fall 2011, and just wrapped filming yet another lead role, in "Samaritan," executive produced by Daniel Dubiecki.

Tipton, originally from Minnesota, was raised in Central California. She grew up as a competitive ice skater, competing twice in the U.S. Junior Figure Skating Championships. After moving to Hollywood, Tipton was a runner-up on cycle 11 of America's Next Top Model.

Also an accomplished artist and writer, she is currently in the process of writing her own screenplay.

Tipton placed third on Cycle 11 of America's Next Top Model in 2008. She was recruited through Myspace and was asked to audition in Los Angeles. At the beginning of the show, Tipton revealed that she once encountered sex traffickers posing as modeling agents. She was then sold to a Saudi Arabian prince but managed to get out of the situation before the deal was finalized. After landing in the bottom 2 in the episode "You're Beautiful, Now Change" for not using her ice-skating moves to her advantage, she rebounded and appeared in the top three for seven consecutive weeks. Tipton was called first twice, one for the first CoverGirl commercial, which Tyra Banks deemed "the best CoverGirl commercial in the history of America's Next Top Model." She also won the go-sees challenge, by booking all three of her go-sees she went to and getting back on time. In a challenge won by Elina Ivanova, Ivanova shared her prize with Marjorie Conrad and Tipton; they appeared alongside each other in the December 2008/January 2009 issue of Seventeen magazine. She was subsequently eliminated in the finale after forgetting her lines in the second CoverGirl commercial, which left Samantha Potter and McKey Sullivan to walk in the finale runway show.

Tipton and Samantha Potter appeared as guest stars on the television series The Big Bang Theory, in the episode "The Panty Piñata Polarization." She made her film debut in The Green Hornet, where she acted alongside Cameron Diaz and Seth Rogen, which was released on January 14, 2011. Tipton also played a babysitter who has a crush on Steve Carell's character in Crazy, Stupid, Love., alongside Julianne Moore, Marisa Tomei, Emma Stone, and Ryan Gosling. Her role in Crazy, Stupid, Love. garnered some praise from the critics, as she was called a "face to watch" by The New York Times, and was featured in Nylon, Details, Teen Vogue and Interview.

Tipton, who is studying film, is also the head supervisor for an upcoming film called Stealing Second.

She was cast in the third season of HBO's TV comedy Hung, portraying Sandee, a young gigolo's scheming fiancee.

Tipton will star in the zombie-apocalyptic horror film Warm Bodies; directed by Jonathan Levine. Tipton is set to star along actors Dave Franco, Teresa Palmer and John Malkovich. Tipton will play Palmer’s character's best friend. - Wikipedia
